Wooden cicada - pull back toy

Who is making all noise? 

That’s not a noise but a cicada song. The cicada is tiny and yet you can hear it everywhere. How is it possible? This bug is powered by a pull-back motor which makes a chirping sound when the toy drives. Additionally the sound of the cicada’s legs can be heard when they move up and down and knock on the wooden element. To make the cicada move and sing you just need to pull it backwards and then let it go. The imitation of animal movements and sounds captures child’s imagination. As a result a child is introduced to animal world, takes interest in it and learns to appreciate it. The whole body is involved while playing with the cicada thus contributing to the development of gross motor skills.
